Several area Dems participated in a rally in front of Northern Michigan Hospital on Saturday, Nov. 6 to support healthcare reform. We were gratified by the waves and show of support from many of the motorists as they passed by.

We held a joint meeting with the Emmet Dems on Tuesday, June 2 to hear Jocelyn Benson, Asst. Professor of Law at Wayne State University, speak about her candidacy for Secretary of State in 2010. The meeting was well-attended and we hope to make it just the first of Dem candidates to speak here in Northern Michigan.
