Ken Braun: Michigan’s gay marriage ban gets happy ending

April DeBoer and Jayne Rowse, the victorious plaintiffs in the U.S. Supreme Court case challenging Michigan’s same-sex marriage ban, were married in Michigan on Saturday. Their desire to marry was always about legally protecting their adopted brood of special-needs kids in the event that one or the other passed away.
