Bernie Sanders and Elizabeth Warren join forces to make college free

Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-Vt.) is back with a proposal to make college free — this time featuring a few digs at President Donald Trump.

Sanders introduced a bill Monday that builds off his previous efforts both in the Senate and on the presidential campaign trail to make public college free. Much of the proposal, including plans to make college tuition free for families earning $125,000 a year or less and allow current student loan borrowers to refinance their debt at lower interest rates, is a rehash of the campaign promises offered by Sanders and the onetime Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton on the campaign trail last year.  Read More
